Terms of Service

Last update: August 20, 2026

By creating a Jyva account, you agree to the rules below. We have tried to write them clearly rather than in legal jargon — if anything is unclear, write to us.

1. Purpose

Jyva is an AI-assisted training and nutrition application: program generation, meal scanning by photo, progress tracking, and an entirely optional community dimension. These Terms apply to the iOS application and the upcoming Android version.

2. Your account

3. Subscription

4. Artificial intelligence and health

5. Community and content

The community dimension (feed, friends, challenges, duels, public programs) is entirely optional.

What you can publish

You remain the owner of the content you publish (shared workouts, public programs, comments). By publishing it, you grant Jyva the right to display it in the community feed or catalog to other users, to make this content accessible.

What is prohibited

Reporting

You can report content or a profile that violates these rules via support — we will examine it and remove the content or suspend the account concerned if necessary.

6. Intellectual property

The Jyva brand, logo, Wiggl character, design and code of the application belong to the publisher — see the legal notice. No provision of these Terms transfers any rights to you beyond normal use of the app.

7. Liability

Jyva makes every effort to provide a reliable service, without guaranteeing absolute availability or accuracy (particularly for AI-generated estimations, see §4). Under French consumer law, our liability cannot be limited for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any breach of an essential obligation of the service — in other cases, it is limited to direct and foreseeable damages related to the use of the app.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time — see the dedicated page. Jyva may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a manifest violation of these Terms (prohibited content, abuse of anti-fraud mechanisms, attempt to circumvent the subscription), after notification by email when possible.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution with support, you can resort for free to a competent consumer mediator for the amicable settlement of the dispute. In the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts are those of your place of residence, in accordance with the mandatory rules of consumer protection.

10. Modification of the Terms

These Terms may evolve with the service. Any significant modification will be notified to you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use Jyva after this notification constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.

11. Contact

A question about these conditions? Contact support.
